Dubai Textile City as a long-term Government project
The Dubai textile city, as the territorial unit, occupies the space of more than 40 thousand square kilometers, of which more than 2 million square kilometers are dedicated to the covered selling and production spaces. The Free Zone is located in the Ras al Khor city district, in ten minutes drive from the Dubai International air harbor. The dozens of stores and specialized salons with textile products are registered and carry out their trading activity on the territory of the economic zone.
The infrastructure of the economic zone includes a modern office premises and showrooms, storage facilities and selling spaces, in which the necessary utilities and social facilities are available.
The main strategic goal of the Government project is to create a civilized market and favorable conditions for international trade relations, assistance to the business partners and to affirm the international image of Dubai as of the optimal platform and the centre of the regional textile industry.

Considering the fact that the Dubai Textile City is a joint project of the state and private business, it should be noted that the special status of the area provides a number of competitive advantages and opportunities for international trade.
